uprooted’s pop-up events bring multi-course seasonal and themed menus to restaurants willing to lend me their kitchens—and you their seats—for a few hours. The dishes are vegan, gluten-free, and vegetable-forward. With each menu, I aim to create a memorable, evocative dining experience, without pretense, offering moments of surprise, but also playing on the familiar. (Emphasis on play.)
